A HOUSE OF MAKING

The atelier is not the background to the brand. It is its character.

RIVE & RITUEL approaches the atelier as a way of working: composed, precise and beautifully understated. Pieces are designed in Geneva and produced to order in the EU, keeping the process deliberate and connected to real demand.

We begin with use, proportion and the person who will wear the piece. The result is swim, bodywear and shorewear shaped by fit, movement and longevity.

A garment is designed around the day it must live through.

Can it enter cold water in the morning and sit comfortably beneath knitwear afterwards? Can it move through sailing, spa, travel and lunch without feeling like a costume for one setting? Can the line remain elegant while offering the support a body actually needs?

These questions guide the work. Versatility is not added at the end as a styling suggestion. It is considered from the first line, through fabric selection, construction and final fit.

    Colour, size and the intended use of the piece shape the brief.

    Cutting

    Performance fabric is prepared by hand with attention to grain, stretch and proportion.

    Construction

    Layers, seams and finishing are brought together for support without heaviness.

    Final inspection

    The finished piece is checked before dispatch and before it enters your ritual.
